IS SAT.TV A FREE-TO-AIR SERVICE?
The Sat.tv application is entirely free, just as the broadcasting of its bouquet which contains more than 300 TV channels carried on the Hotbird satellite.
HOW CAN I RECEIVE THE SAT.TV PLATFORM?
There is nothing easier than that. If you are located in an area covered by Hotbird satellites, all you need is a dish and a satellite receiver. For more details, watch the section “How to receive the bouquet”.
WHICH TYPE OF EQUIPMENT DO I NEED TO RECEIVE THE TV CHANNELS?
To receive Sat.tv channels, all you need is a satellite decoder for free-to-air channels available at local retailers. For more details, watch the section “How to receive the bouquet”.

HOW HAVE CHANNELS AVAILABLE ON THE SAT.TV BOUQUET BEEN SELECTED?
Hotbird is an orbital position that is open to all TV channels. As a result, Sat.tv does not select the channels aired on its platform.
HOTBIRD’s extensive audience reach attracts the most important channels, both mainstream and specialised channels distributed in Europe, Russia, Middle East, North Africa, as well as in the rest of the world.
Some channels in the mosaic view display the following sentence “The programme information is not yet available for this channel”. When will it be available?
Provision of program information falls within the responsibility of each channel. This means that the channels concerned have not yet provided details about their programmes.
Sat.tv teams are working proactively with all channels carried on Hotbird satellites in order to offer a TV guide as detailed as possible.

LINE-UP DATA ARE NOT ALWAYS ACCURATE. HOW CAN I OBTAIN MORE ACCURATE INFORMATION?
Sat.tv is a collaborative platform between Eutelsat and the channels carried on the HOTBIRD satellite. Accuracy of line-up related data falls within the responsibility of each channel. However, Sat.tv works in close coordination with TV channels in order to offer as accurate a guide as possible.

To set up an account on the Sat.tv application, we need a few personal details. This information is used to personalise the guide and offer the most appropriate content that will be aired on the HOTBIRD satellite.

DOES THE SAT.TV APP CONTAIN ANY ADVERTISEMENT?
No, there is no advertising on the Sat.tv application. We may occasionally promote some channels and programmes that match your personalised profile.
